ARCHAEOLOGY around EASINGWOLD - David Wharton-Street

David Wharton-Street has pulled together a really useful guide or resource to some of the Archaeology around Easingwold

It is difficult to find detailed written evidence of a particular town or area prior to the Elizabethan period [the end of the Mediaeval]. There are, of course, exceptions; such as Roman and Viking history in York.

David, over the past year, from a variety of resources, has pulled together the historical periods around Easingwold and district to the end of the Mediaeval.

Members may use this for their own research and we can also use as a resource for our History & Heritage Group

Please respect Davids work. He has given permission for personal and u3a use it should not be used outside the group as this would infringe his intellectual rights and copyright.
